Literature review

Today exercise is important for not only for young generation but also for the old age people. It positively influences the body; as the exercise has many types of advantages. In gym through doing physical activities an individual can improve his personality and physical fitness also. When an individual possess healthy and fit body then their productivity can be raised. For some people exercise can be amusing. It increases the level of energy. By engaging in physical activities people become social, they can achieve motivation to attain the goals which occurs when they goes to gym and interact with other people over there(Araya, 2015).

Through gym`s guidance an individual clarifies the confusions and inner conflicts that why the training is not going in proper way and how the improvement can be attained. Gym ensures the person how the training should be done; the type of program can be followed etc.(Professor, 2011).

Exercise is the integral part of the daily lifestyle in order to improve the quality of the life and overall program of fitness possesses flexibility, strength, balancing, aerobics, core training. Exercise includes yoga which helps in reducing stress and keeps an individual fit. Yoga is also included in the exercises which are recommended by various health organizations(Cespedes, 2014).

To exercise regularly people use to visit the gym as the routine of daily exercise can be done by going gym. In gym each and every person according to their age, physic, and weight get a program for the fitness. Training programs are created according the ability of the individual that how much they can exercise in one day.  These training programs benefit them as they can reduce their weight; their diet can be balanced, there health can be maintained and stress can be reduced. In gym, people through interaction and communication with other members can get motivated to do more exercises(Sprague, 1983).

Research Methodology

The term ‘Research’ can be defined as investigating answers for the question. Through research new ideas can be generated and it also enhances the knowledge and information of person who is conducting research. The method through which the research is conducted to find answer or solution of the problem can be elucidating as researchmethodology.

Research methodology is encompassed of various steps that include- problem identification, problem hypothesis, data collection, analyzing and evaluation of the data and conclusion.

  • Sampling Design: The sample design which was opted by me in this research project was random sampling. The random sampling suits or fits in this research project. It was selected because it is easy to choose respondents through this sampling and it also present unbiased or relevant data.
  • Universe: The universe which I selected for this research study was the members of – ‘The Gym Chain’.
  • Sample Size: The quantity of sample units which are selected from the population which is available for the research study is known as sample size. In every country each gym has 1200 members and the total members of each gym are 3600.through using simple random sampling 10% members from each gym i.e. 1200 members that make a total of 360 which are chosen as the participants.
  • Data Collection: There are two sources from where the data can be collected they are- primary source and secondary source. Data collected from primary sources is more relevant and chances of biasness is less than data collected from secondary source. Therefore I selected primary source to collect data for the research study. Various methods through which the data can be collected from primary source are- observation method, survey, interviews etc.
  • In this research the data is collected through survey by getting questionnaire, filled by the participants or respondent who are voluntary participating in this research study. It is a Self-administrated surveywhich is done by the respondent itself; as it was hard to approach the participants from different countries therefore the survey was done online. Participants filled the questionnaire itself and send their response online.
  • Questionnaire: A set of questions which are asked for the purpose of gathering information is known as questionnaire. It is a method of data collection from primary source. The questionnaire was prepared according to the sample size and the relevance of the respondents.
